That's right, I got one.
It's only 40 GB, but it's sexy as hell [Although I would have loved to get a silver one]. I need to get a cable that connects the station to my router to get internet connection, but I have a cool friend who knows all about that stuff. IF ONLY HE WOULD FREE UP HIS SCHEDULE. Anyway, I got Orange Box! I can only play Portal though, since the others games requires internet access.
If anyone wants to know, it's an early birthday present (Give me presents! Muahah). Three family/relative members have their birthdays in April, and one of them (my aunt) is heading to China for a month, so we decided to celebrate our 'birthdays' before she left.
Art has not progressed (Why'd you force me to join?!), but music has started to come along. I can play Ave Maria and Theme of Love (and Hikari! Whoo), I just need to get BETTER. Although, I don't think I need dynamics...I'm only practicing for an imaginary talent show that might never happen.
Last day.

Trumpet Girl is hungry, tired, but content.
Trumpet Girl loves life and doesn't need a Prince Charming. Just really hot Asian guys to laugh about with her friends.

Moment of the Day: Crashing into the wall from attempting to open a door. [Silver Trumpet in one hand + wheely backpack in another + no help = clumsy moments]
So, did anyone go to the Band Festival this week?
I did--twice, actually. Yesterday for Jazz Band, and today for Concert Band.
I don't think I'll delve into the details. I'll just say that for Jazz, I was confident, but left a little disappointed. The ceiling above the trumpet section was built to mute the sound, so I had to play so hard and loud! The saxophones (first row on the stage) could barely hear the trumpets. It's okay though, Trumpet 2-4 aren't that advanced in brass playing. Our main Trumpet 2 player left for India because of a funeral [RIP] and we had to replace her with a mediocre Trumpet 2 Concert Band player.
Anyway, all I can say is it's nearly impossible to play your part, as well as make up for three other parts, when you're short, small, and have small lung capacity.
Concert band was okay. Jazz band day was more fun--it was at the college [best for its music department, similar to Harvard and law] and had pretty attractive guys, if I do say so myself! Plus it was a smaller and more friendly group. Today had absolutely no attractive guys; then again, I don't really like the University at all. Although I did see some Asians in trouble with the police. They had nice hair, that's all!
What else...I got my Silver Trumpet fixed. He's even better now, but with more scratches [for some reason. I think the repairmen were a little careless]. I buffed [shined] him on Tuesday, and under the spotlight, he blinded my band teacher.

Moment of the Day: Crashing into the wall from attempting to open a door. [Silver Trumpet in one hand + wheely backpack in another + no help = clumsy moments]
So, did anyone go to the Band Festival this week?
I did--twice, actually. Yesterday for Jazz Band, and today for Concert Band.
I don't think I'll delve into the details. I'll just say that for Jazz, I was confident, but left a little disappointed. The ceiling above the trumpet section was built to mute the sound, so I had to play so hard and loud! The saxophones (first row on the stage) could barely hear the trumpets. It's okay though, Trumpet 2-4 aren't that advanced in brass playing. Our main Trumpet 2 player left for India because of a funeral [RIP] and we had to replace her with a mediocre Trumpet 2 Concert Band player.
Anyway, all I can say is it's nearly impossible to play your part, as well as make up for three other parts, when you're short, small, and have small lung capacity.
Concert band was okay. Jazz band day was more fun--it was at the college [best for its music department, similar to Harvard and law] and had pretty attractive guys, if I do say so myself! Plus it was a smaller and more friendly group. Today had absolutely no attractive guys; then again, I don't really like the University at all. Although I did see some Asians in trouble with the police. They had nice hair, that's all!

Merry Christmas!
HAPPY NEW YEARS! Is everyone having fun? It was an awesome day today with friends (I have too many friends to hang out at once!) and a great 'start' for the New years. I hope you guys have a great year! Too bad all the great shops are...closed for the holiday... [I'll make it up to you, everyone!]
Resolutions:
For once, have ZERO MESSAGES AND DEVIATIONS or be more organized and less lazy
Finish all borrowed games before summer or gain some pro gaming skills
Eat MORE healthy or eat less junk food (chocolate isn't junk food, candy bars with 'chocolate' are!)
Learn to draw a beautiful rose or just learn to draw beautifully
Compose one song, whether instrumental or lyrical and turn it into a trumpet solo or just improve in music in general
Be happy as much as possible (with or without someone) or resist regret and sadness [Triple cheers for me!]
Fix problems andgive better advice or stop screwing up
Goal I must accomplish:
Raise money for a selected charity [Kid's Fund] Over $600! Thanks everyone for contributing!
